I work for a competitive company (doing similar work) so it makes sense to consider and talk to me. The interview process was not very organized. The HR person didn't even make our phone call appointment. After called her to ask about it, we rescheduled. At our next call, she seemed uninterested in giving me consideration which was odd given my experience. Interviewer asked the typical "Do you have any questions for me?" but she could not answer the details of the job. After being told the "We'll keep your resume on file should anything open up..." line, I saw several more positions become available that were a better fit than the previous opening, but I don't know why that comment is even said when there's no follow through. I didn't feel comfortable applying again and spending my time and efforts knowing I may get the same HR person.
