I had 4 different face to face discussions over the course of 2 months with multiple members of the Malouf team. I was most impressed with the amount of effort that went into defining my strengths/weaknesses and seeing how and where I would be able to contribute most to the company while also ensuring that I would find long-term fulfillment in the work. It was very clear from the first meeting that Malouf cares first and foremost about people. Ultimately, I was offered a position, but not the one that I applied for

I emailed my resume and cover letter for the open position around the middle of December. I knew that Malouf was a very popular company, for very good reasons, and that the Christmas holiday and New Year season was also coming up, so I wanted to keep my resume and contact information fresh and relevant. A few days passed and the was correspondence back and forth on being out of town and the holiday seasons. After a few days passed I would send a follow-up email. I was able to secure a first interview, then also a second interview about 10 days later. I was offered the position within the next few days.
