HR Recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn. The job was listed as NYC preferred, but open to remote, however they were not open to remote.
The full interview process is interview with HR, interview with hiring manager, interview with a few team members together, interview with EVP, presentation to a larger group including all those you have previously interviewed with, and a final cultural interview with a couple executive leaders.
Everyone I spoke with at the company was exceptionally kind and I could tell even from the interview process some of the smartest people I’ve come into contact with.
My only disappointment was at the end of the process when asking questions around relocation. I had an open conversation with the recruiter about my concerns moving to NYC and asked several questions regarding relocation. I was told they would get back to me with answers to those questions, but the next communication I received was an email stating that because I was unwilling to relocate they were moving into different candidates.
