My first round interview was with one of the Senior Product Developers and went great. Second interview with the owners was confirmed the next day for the following week. My interview with the owners went exceedingly well also, I left feeling extremely confident and thought I had the job in the bag. After almost two weeks of not hearing back I followed to check on the status of their decision. After about another week of two, I finally received a response from one of the owners giving excuses as to why it took so long to respond, that they were still working on a final decision. I followed up again a week later, to which I never received a response at all. Two months after my second interview, at which point I had assumed I was not getting the position, I received a message requesting my references and then was offered the job two days later. Although I was happy to get the job in the end, the entire process was very frustrating and unprofessional.
