J'ai postulé en personne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Madewell (New York, NY) en janv. 2013
Entretien
I called ahead of time to ask if they were still accepting applications after seeing a post on Craigslist. I stopped in the next day to fill out an application and did so in the store in the front window (the sales girl said that it'd be fine if I did) and as I did so more girls came in to do the same as I did. After a couple days I received a call from their hiring manager for an interview the next day (usually I would have said no because I like time to prepare for interviews) but I took the interview for the next day and showed up dressed casually (he told me to dress casually when I inquired about the dress for the interview) and wore a blue A-line dress, a wheat colored open cardigan with a black belt and black flats. I wore my hair out and curly and with natural makeup. I came in ten minutes early only to have to wait past the time he said the interview would be starting (red flag, I suppose) and then came downstairs to take me to where the interview would be conducted. We went in the back behind the displays and sat to talk. I was nervous a bit, but I had a lot of experience and when he asked me questions I answered them. Perhaps I was too thorough in my answers because I caught him looking away a couple times and not at me while I was speaking. He spoke very softly so I had to strain to hear him and make sure I heard him properly when he was asking me questions. After about ten minutes the interview was done and he shook my hand. I briefly made small talk for about 2 minutes then went on my way. He told me he'd call me by whenever time or to expect a call, but when it never came I decided I wanted a firm NO and not a brush off. I called the store several times within two weeks and left messages only to finally get a hold of him and be told they went with someone else. Severely irritating.
