I was well qualified for the position, and it is a lower level than my current HR position, I just wanted additional income. I interviewed with someone with less skills than me, when she asked how many employees that location had, she had no idea. She said I was obviously qualified for the position and the next step would be a call to move forward...still waiting for that call. I called the next week to follow up, left the pertinent information, again, still waiting. I really want to work in the HR office at Macy's, it's a win win, I would be doing less than my FT job, earn extra money and get a great discount. The odd thing is, I know someone who was hired after walking in the HR office and asking about working at Macy's, they hired him on the spot! Yet the person I interviewed with said nobody gets hired unless they get approval from the corporate office. At a loss.
