I applied online and the very next day I got an email to schedule an interview. I want to do it ASAP, so I picked the closest date they provide on their scheduling center website. And you know, most people said you have to dress up as if you go to the funeral to go to interview (wearing all black from head to toe), forget about it. As long as you dress professional, slacks,dress shirt, you are TOTALLY fine! I went there 15 minutes early, and while waiting for my interviewer they hand me questionnaire form to fill in, and its basically asking your availability and some situation and behavior analysis types of question. Such as; what would you do if you wake up in such a bad mood on your day off. I got interviewed by the Sales manager and if you study all the questions here, its pretty much the same. Some of the questions was; 1) Why do you like Macy? 2)Why you want to work with Macy 3)How would you celebrate a purchase 4)Name some time when you see someone being dishonest and what did you do. 5)How you going to make customers want to open macy's card. 6)Tell me about yourself.

Virtue first. Then, at the store. Interview questions are not hard but hiring manager/s are sketchy. They posted part time positions but when I got into the interview they said their looking for people wanting full time job. So unprofessional to take my time.

Basic interview process. Applied online and was called in for an interview about a week later. Nothing crazy or out of the ordinary. No assessments needed. I talked about 2 managers.

It was in person and lasted 20 minutes approximately. Before the int started I was asked to fill out a questionnaire. The question inclu questions about my education and prior retail sales jobs.
