I applied online Saturday night and received an email to schedule my interview Monday morning. I scheduled it for Tuesday at 4:00 pm. I got there 30 minutes early. Someone was speaking with a manager in the back. I assume she was hired, they were speaking of W2 and Orientation. The same woman that spoke to her interviewed me and the interview went great. I started off by asking her how she was and she was so happy to have some one ask how she was, I just knew the interview would be a breeze. She almost wanted to hire me right off the break by just my personality but then she realized she had to ask me the general Macy's interview questions. I answered them and she left for a quick second to see what positions were open. She said there was a position open in cosmetics and she would get the cosmetics manager to speak with me. She said that it shouldn't be a problem but if there was then she would put me with her in jewelry. I met the cosmetics manager and she asked me about my experience and because I work with Mary Kay..it would be a conflict of interest but she liked me so much, she made room for me in Fragrance. I accepted it right away. HR was very empty when I came in. No one was there. I didn't even know where to go, so I just sat by the computer to apply online. That was awkward. Though, I had a good time. Lasted about an hour. Only because she kept leaving the room. All in all..good experience.
