I interviewed for one of the fiction imprints, and my interviewer was welcoming, encouraging, and very conversational. I was incredibly nervous, and yet it was an extremely positive experience. I was eventually notified when I was unfortunately not selected for the position.

They reached out at the end of December inviting me to interview in January for a spring editorial internship with Tor Publishing Group. It was a virtual call of ~20 minutes with the hiring manager. About two weeks later, they offered me the internship.

After an informal interview with a recruiter, I was contacted for an interview with the editors I'd be supporting. It was a friendly, conversational interview; we spent most of the time chatting about books we'd read!

I applied the day the internship application opened. I got contacted by HR about setting up an interview a month later. I did have to reach back out because they forgot to schedule it, and then I had the interview. Two days later, they offered me the position.
