I interviewed for the entry-level actuarial analyst (Warren, NJ and NYC) position back in January, 2026. No HR involved. The Chief Actuary contacted and interviewed with me first. After the interview, he passed me onto the next stage to interview with the Senior Pricing Actuary the following week. It has been a little over 7 weeks since that interview and I have not heard back from anyone. I sent an email to the Chief Actuary and the Senior Pricing Actuary over 5 and 3 weeks ago respectively about my continued interest and when I should expect to hear an update. Still nobody replied to me. I know the company is going through a rapid expansion process and looking to hire a lot of new talent, but this is completely unacceptable. This is not how you treat entry-level candidates. I saw they reposted the same EL Actuarial Analyst position on LinkedIn 4 weeks ago and I wanted to put this out there to warn those who could possibly be going through the same process as I did.
J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez MSIG (Kuala Lumpur)
Entretien
It was a physical interview. The session was less intense than I expected. They were interested in understanding your experience. You will be given an Excel test to test your understanding. It was quite easy as long as you knew the basic functions. No actuarial-related topic was asked.

J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 2 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez MSIG (Singapour) en mai 2018
Entretien
There supposed to be 3 rounds in total, each on a different day, lasting about an hour
1st round is the simple "getting to know you". They will ask about what you studied in school, what internship experience you have, your current and aspired exam progression. They also asked about your expectation of the work environment (eg are you comfortable talking to people across department, prefer to do number work only, etc.)
2nd round is a real case study. You will be shown different statistics in order of granularity and asked to make analysis at each.
3rd round is the interview with the big boss of the department. I didn't pass the 2nd round so not much to say abt the 3rd.
