After speaking with a recruiter, I had a one-hour conversation with a design director and head of operations. The design director was friendly and eager to sell me on the experience of working at MKDA. The head of operations looked bored and distracted the entire time, yawning and looking down except to ask oddly personal questions that had no bearing on my skills as a designer.
