Two day interview with three different groups. Met with different members from each group for 20-30 minutes to talk about what I do and what they do. Additionally gave research talk on first day of the interview. Meetings with individual staff members ranged from very useful to not useful at all. Some were very interested in my research and 20-30 minutes seemed way too short, some had very little use and the professional stuff ended after 5-10 and we talked about the company or Boston in general. Everyone was very nice. I'm marking it as difficult, not because of difficult technical questions, but rather because doing two 8 hour days back to back with non-stop mini meetings was very tiring

Group reached out to me very quickly after submitting application (within 1 week), and scheduled an interview the following week. The interview was a half-day on-site interview with the group. During the interview, I met with HR to discuss the Lab's logistics (security clearance, organizational structure) and benefits. I gave a 1-hour technical presentation to the group on my related work. I then had a series of small-group and individual interviews with members of group, which varied from discussions about my presentation, a hypothetical case study problem, and a technical breadth examination.
