I'm not a native English speaker but I hold a TESOL certificate and over 5000 hours of teaching experience. That is said, this was the most humiliating and the worst experience I've had.
There's no shortlisting, you just create a profile, fill in a form, and schedule a demo lesson with a teacher assessor (TA). No criteria during the process, no note that being a native speaker is a requirement. Nothing! You can even choose your country of origin from a droplist where all countries are listed. A fully self-service demo lesson scheduling system. I started to think about the time they waste with unqualified candidates in demo classes.
Finally, the TA didn't show up for the demo lesson. I contacted support and their responses were, to say the least, UNFRIENDLY and UNHELPFUL. I was informed that the TA would email me and explain why he was absent. Guess what? He never did.
Finally, my demo lesson was marked 0, and the system won't let me schedule another one. :)

They invited me to apply based on my LinkedIn webpage. Interview was efficient and fair. I gave a sample lesson, took a simple test, and was hired shortly thereafter. My interviewer was very professional and gave helpful comments. The whole process took less than 2 weeks.
