First a virtual call is set up. They try to ask you some questions on why you are interested and how you knew their department. Finally, in-person interview happens with a on-site talk that is usually 1 hour long presentation by you. Questions then follow and then they would like to do a HR round with general traits assessments. final results are known in as little as 15 days
