Got invitation for a Skype interview with 2 consultants, 30 minutes each. Prior to the interview, I was required to complete aptitude and behavioural test. The inviter described the interview process as consisting of case + fit interviews. I had my doubts that 30 mins can consist of both fit + cases. Furthermore, the interview process was not the same as described on the website at all. I did not know what to expect.
When the date came, one interviewer (who is a consultant) cannot figure out how to make Skype work so it became a phone interview instead of a Skype interview. To me, this seems fairly unprofessional, not to mention the fact that he called in almost 10 minutes late. The questions I got was quite unstructured. I could not figure out whether he wanted it to be a fit interview or somewhat a case interview during a fit. (for example, during the discussion on experience, he shifted to ask me "what were the arguments to establish MMC", despite the fact that I answer the questions correctly, he expected me to answer it in a case interview way " there are 3 reasons being A,B and C and deep dive into each").
The second interviewer knew how to use Skype but could not figure out how to use VDO on Skype, so again, the process simply became a phone interview. The two interviewers make my perception of MMC seems amateur. The questions I got from the second interviewer were purely fit questions.
I did not get to proceed further. However, even though I get to proceed, I would not have wanted to anyways due to unprofessionalism of the interviewers and the fact that process seemed messed up.
