This instance was brief as both sides were seeking to identify short-term opportunities involving business development. M2 was scanning for people with business development experience with an eye towards facilitating a medical device start-up that has innovative technology for countering the symptoms of diabetes. I was looking for well-defined short-term opportunities while waiting for my own target start-up to receive funding. M2's VP Business Development was very articulate and professional. Useful information was exchanged and the door was left open for possible collaboration in the future. M2 projects a an enthusiastic, intelligent, professional work culture. Friendly and caring while at the same time focused on results. Team oriented and the members seem to genuinely like each other and what it is they are doing. Advice for people interested -- as with any firm, do some legwork and find out what problems you can help solve right away.
