J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Lumen (Wake Forest, NC) en mai 2013
Entretien
The interview was pretty typical for a technical job: lots of basic networking and troubleshooting scenarios to test the breadth of my knowledge. I sat with local supervisor with 2 other supervisors from another location on conference call. Whole interview took about an hour. I received positive feedback immediately after interview was over, but then didn't hear back for almost 4 weeks. When I did finally hear back, it took another 2-3 weeks before I was given a start date. The process as a whole was a positive experience, just took a lot longer than I expected.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
I was asked a network connectivity question for a remote customer. I was asked to work through troubleshooting steps. As I went along, I exhausted every step I could think of to isolate and repair the problem. After a little while, the supervisor told me that I had already answered the question, they just kept pushing me further because they wanted to see how I would handle escalated problems or difficult clients.
J'ai postulé via une agence de recrutement. J'ai passé un entretien chez Lumen (Saint Paul, MN)
Entretien
It was a phone interview where they gave a brief overview of the company and asked some basic troubleshooting questions. They also gave me an opportunity to ask questions. I asked about how a typical day goes and was told that there is no typical day - its different every day with different tasks assigned. On the job, this answer proved to be a lie. The job tasks was a variation of a 5 step process.

Entretien
The supervisor at the location I would be working at interviewed me and thought the job was a good fit for me. A couple days later the contracting company that told me about the position called me requesting an update from me on my decision on whether or not to take the job. I told her I wanted it. She then confirmed with the supervisor and I got a second confirmation call from my contracting agency that I gotten the job.
