They are looking for ruby devs only and were clear about that from the beginning. Most of the technical conversations had were around RoR, like migrations from monolith to microservices, arch choices, design choices. The recruiter that reached out to me also prepped me for these conversations, and I was never asked to do any live coding, only a take home, which was admittedly challenging and time consuming, but a well developed exercise that we leveraged for the loop conversations. Overall, this was one of the fastest processes from start to finish with respect for my other timelines and mindfulness over expectations throughout. I ended up not getting to the very end as I accepted another offer, but I have a lot of respect for their process efficiency.
