Hardly an interview tbh. Told I'd be interviewed by Tom, in multiple emails, to then arrive on the day and be interviewed by James instead, no heads-up or explanation provided. I'm game for career progression, as I'm sure most people are, but to make you change roles 4 times in the space of 6 - 12 months is insane! I had a few questions to ask but it didn't seem like questions were welcome - even chosing only 1 question to ask, I was told "must you?" and interviewer was clearly uncomfortable by the thought of being asked anything (all I did was point out there's spelling and grammar issues in the job description, for a role where they say you need to have a good eye for detail and be very accurate). Other questions had to go unasked. Original email I received said the interview would be 30 - 40mins long, but in reality I was in that room for what was 5 - 10mins max. Overall vibe from the company is that they want to rush as many people through as possible (both in interview and career with them). Also, noticed too late that in the fine print at the bottom of the job description it states they take people on in a SELF-EMPLOYED basis. No mention/reminder of this in the phone interview, you'd have thought it would be a pretty major thing to let people know as this sort of employment is not for everyone, its certainly something I am very much against myself. Was told at end of interview that I'd be contacted between 2 - 3pm the same day, to either invite me in for the next interview (which they wanted to hold the very next day - at £20 a train ticket for me, had they pre-warned the next stage would be the next day I'd have got an open return ticket instead to save money) or to give me feedback as to why I was not chosen - This is the day after now and I've heard nothing back, so they don't even have the decency to stay true to their word in that case either. The negative reviews on here were pretty spot on, wish I'd read them before applying.

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback. Our recruitment process is integral to our success and we welcome all feedback, both good and bad. First and foremost, we must apologise that you were not interviewed by the director. He is currently on a business trip in Australia and this should have been communicated to in the email. Also you should have been informed both over the phone and in the corresponding email that the initial interview is brief and informal and more of a "get to know you" process as we look to learn more about candidates personality and career ambitions. You would not be changing roles four times but simply taking on extra responsibility and expanding your knowledge and skillset as your progress through our development program. We apologise if this was not explained properly. Second, we offer first class development opportunities for graduates and ambitious individuals looking to take their career to the next level. Lastly, due to the volume of interviews we conduct, we are only able to contact successful applicants. Again, we apologise if you were told you would receive a call either way, however this is not something we do. It's really disappointing to hear your feedback and we will certainly be addressing many of the issues you commented on. Best of luck in the future.

Interview process was quick. Applied online and had a call back the next day to arrange an interview. I passed the first interview and had a call back for a second interview. The job advert was every graduate's dream and I was hopeful and happy that the company seemed to be keen to interview me. During the second interview, I found out that the job I had applied to did not exist. It was a scam. I thought I was applying for Events and Promotions assistant based on 19-24k salary. This was not the case. It was a sales role. The company wanted to me stand 8 hours a day on the streets selling credit cards. There was no basic salary. Earning was depended on commission. If you managed to reach your target you will be earning £300 a week. As a graduate, I felt offended that the company thought that I would want a job that a 5 year old can do. I woke up at 5am to get to ready for an interview on a job that did not exist. I would have appreciated it if it was made clear on the first interview what the role was. Instead, the interviewer talked about progression and how I would lead of one other office, only to find out that this was not the case. I saw a lot of fresh graduates like myself waiting to be interviewed. I guess the company likes to pray on desperate young people. The company makes it sound like its a hard job to get-its not. Anyone can get it. I would avoid at any cost. I felt disappointed with the company , mostly importantly, I felt disappointed in myself for hoping that the company might be interested in my skills. It was a waste of time and money. All the negative reviews on the company here was spot on.

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to submit a review. We appreciate all feedback, good and bad. We appreciate that you are entitled to your opinion, however we cannot ignore the use of the word scam. A scam is defined as "a dishonest scheme; a fraud." Live Innovations is a professional, registered company with a client portfolio boasting several of the UK's market leaders in their industry. Our business development program is the perfect fit for graduates looking to transition from education into business. We have a proven track record of developing aspiring professionals into successful businessmen and women. We require every one of our managers masters the ground level of our business before progressing. The advertisement should have made it clear that it was an entry level role and that it was commission based. We apologise if this was not made clear or if there was some miscommunication. It’s very unfortunate that you did not enjoy your experience. We are always working hard to improve our recruitment process and we appreciate feedback. Best of luck in the future.

I applied for an Events Promotions Assistant role on Reed and got a response in a day. The initial interview was a phone interview with a lady called Bianca; it was quite brief, around 10 minutes. She asked me questions about my CV and what I'm looking for for my next career and then she explained to me what Live Innovations does and the role that I applied for. After the phone interview, I was invited for a first round interview with the Managing Director, Tom Harris. He was a friendly guy and explained to me in more detail what the company does and the different clients and campaigns they've worked on. Again, it was a very brief interview; we spoke alot about sports because we're both into football and basketball. It was fairly quick interview but it made sense because it was super busy. I got called in two hours after my first round interview saying that I have been invited for an open day or a second round interview to go out with one of their team leaders to be shown the event. I was paired up with a girl called Iliana. I was pretty surprised that someone like Iliana, a girl with masters degree, really smart, was doing an entry level sales and marketing role. I was shown a face to face events marketing and promotions - which made sense for the type of client they were representing. At lunch time, Iliana showed a me a business development programme, where the company will fast track me into a management position in less than 1 year. No wonder the open day was intense, because they're looking for people that are ambitious and willing to work hard. I knew I was that person so I had to fight for the position because there were 11 other candidates that went out that day and we were all fighting for one position. We finished the day around 6 and I had to do a final test at the office where they had to test everything I learned during the day. It was pretty scary because there was a lot of information. I ended the day with a final round interview with Tom again but it was actually more intense this time. I didnt think I was going to get it but due to Iliana's recommendation I was offered a position at the company. I started 2 weeks ago, and I have been promoted to a trainee/leadership stage already.
