Brief overview of the company. Mock tutoring that is about 5 minutes long to show your skills. Very simple and straightforward process. Told me that I would hear a response in 2-4 days.
Forced, one way video interview before you get to speak with a human. Mandatory mock session, regardless if you have more qualifications and a higher degree than the "tutor mentor". The job hires from college students on up. Applicants with a teaching degree should be except from the mock session but are still required. There are no accommodations offered for neurodivergent applicants, like myself, who are better written communicators than verbal ones. All are required to do the one way video interview. As a 20 year teaching veteran, you can do better.
