Case Study: Public Health Data Analysis and Recommendations
You are part of a public health organization tasked with analyzing COVID-19 data to support strategic planning and targeted healthcare efforts. Your goal is to leverage the publicly available COVID-19 Open Data to answer important questions and provide actionable recommendations.
Dataset
Use the BigQuery public dataset:
bigquery-public-data.covid19_open_data.covid19_open_data
This dataset contains comprehensive country-level daily time-series data related to COVID-19 globally. It includes demographics, epidemiology, health, hospitalizations, government responses, mobility, weather, and more.
Your Task
Create a 3-5 slide PowerPoint presentation for senior leadership that:
Answer the following question: What are your recommendations for reducing Covid cases in the United States?
Summarizes your analytical approach.
Explain briefly how you explored and analyzed the dataset to generate insights.
Presents key findings from the analysis.
These can include trends in cases, fatalities, hotspots, recovery rates, or other metrics you find relevant.
Also answer the questions below:
1) List the key questions you think we should address
2) List the types of data you would analyze and why
3) List any important assumptions you are making

Entretien
First call with RH.
Second call with Hiring manager, mostly behavioural questions, but kindly wanted to know more about me, my experience and my motivations.
Then they sent me an exercise: a spreadsheet to analyse, using the findings based on this data to make an insightful presentation. Present it in front of some people to rate your presentation skills, plus behavioural questions.
At the end, on a Friday night, I received an email with the subject "next steps" and saying to call HR. Very disappointed to make the call to hear that there are no next steps and the process is over because they found a better candidates. Please use the subject of your email wisely!
