J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez LinkedIn (Dublin, Dublin) en févr. 2017
Entretien
1. Reach out to me on linkedin to see if i was interested to have a chat.
2. First chat on phone to see where my fit was for the company and if im interested. Gave me a short intro about the potential role.
3.First official interview over phone. took over an hour. They wanted to know my background, also how i qualified leads, how i was measured on targets, how my day to day looks like, why linkedin, digged deep in to how i contact a costumer. Using the S.T.A.R method when you speak to the HR manager.
4.onsite meeting. meeting with 3 people who are managers. very friendly and fun chat with going through the same things i went through the 1st call and you get the chance to ask questions too.
5. role play
6. onsite meeting with presentation and with roleplay and chat with 2 managers.
I got feedback from the HR manager after each call which gave me a better idea of what they wish to hear in the interview and how they want you to structure your day to day activities with the S.T.A.R method.
Too many interview steps for this kind of role and salary.
Compared to their competition who only have 3 interview steps.
However I do like that they care of who they pick out for the company and it gave me some time to think if i really wanted it.
They didnt notify me that we would have a roleplay on the last interview as well.
They told me it was for them to figure out some details to see on what level i was on but i think they already had that answer with the first roleplay. I dont mind having another roleplay but id like to come prepared mentally.
Phone interview, which was supposed to be followed by 3 more rounds. Recruiter ghosted after the phone interview concluded saying she would call back despite follow ups. Phone interview has fairly basic questions that you don't need to research too in depth for.

When I showed up to the interview they did not even give me a unique Zoom link. Other interviewee was on the tail end of his interview while I sat there on mute. Very unprofessional.
They made me study a prompt for a role play and jump through a bunch of hoops only to ghost me. Not even an automated rejection. I was interviewed working with Hope Cook and Kareem Williams, internal recruiters at LinkedIn. I follow up several times to no avail.

The interviewer ghosted me. He scheduled an intro call with me and during the call he said “I’m getting a call from my manager. Can I call you back? “ and I waited for him to call me back and he never did. I followed up with him and sent a message right after he hung up and asked if we should schedule another call, and he said that he’ll just go ahead and pass along my résumé to the hiring team. It sounded very suspicious; he basically didn’t ask me any questions during the 5-minute call. I don’t think he passed on my résumé. I believe he scheduled a call to just meet his quota of a certain amount of interviews. He wasted my time.
