      I am very lucky that recently went through the hiring process with Lightspeed, and I have to say, it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. From start to finish, the process was incredibly warm, kind, fast, and friendful. Firstly, the initial contact with the Recruitment/HR team was so welcoming. They reached out promptly after I submitted my application via LinkedIn and made me feel valued right from the start. Throughout the process, they were highly responsive to any questions I had and provided clear guidance at every step. The interview process itself was efficient yet thorough, with interesting coding challenges and technical questions. I appreciated how quickly they moved through the stages while still taking the time to get to know me as a candidate. The interviewers were not only professional but also genuinely interested in understanding my skills, current job processes and experiences. What stood out the most was the friendliness of everyone I encountered. From the Recruiters/HR to the interviewers/Developers/Management, everyone I interacted with was warm, approachable, and made me feel at ease. Overall, I think Lightspeed has mastered the art of creating a hiring process that is both efficient and human-centered. I felt respected, valued, and ultimately excited to join such a welcoming team. If you're looking for a company with a fantastic hiring process, I highly recommend Lightspeed.

      Entretien

      Initial call with the recruiter went ok and I was instructed that a short live coding assignment will be presented during technical part. Recruiter was rather talkative and so I didn't get much chance to present myself. Technical interview - questioning started right as the call has commenced - very little (if any) time was dedicated to proper introduction. No human element. I was asked to describe the position and responsibilities in my view as one of the questions. Never got properly introduced to daily tasks from the team, only from the ad. Assignment in Python was easy for someone who works with code. Live coding challenge can be stressful, especially if done in an unknown environment with all the interviewers looking at your screen and attempts. Little time was left for me to ask questions. I was told recruiter would contact me with the feedback but not getting a response for 2 months already is a big red flag. It was clear that we weren't the strongest match during the call but a rejection mail to a person relocating to another country for job is something I consider common sense, sadly it isn't for some companies.
