Details were given on the role and a lot was shared about the Company, all good and nice until the contact points suddenly went silent when asked on the next steps and if I was moving on to the next round. I reckoned that some HR teams are too busy to update every single applicant if no efforts has been made to reach out by the applicant but at least when the applicant makes an effort to enquire on the next steps and outcome if they are progressing, at least have the decency to update regardless of whether the applicant is not shortlisted or moving on so that there is closure. This is basic HR courtesy and professionalism.
