J'ai postulé via une agence de recrutement. J'ai passé un entretien chez LifeOmic (Raleigh, NC) en juil. 2020
Entretien
Included a code assessment, a phone screen, followed by a full team onsite.
The full team onsite (remote due to COVID) was about 3 hours which included various conversations around tech, culture, and company mission. I thoroughly enjoyed talking to each member of the team and honestly believe this is a great place to work.
However, even though the interview went well, I was ghosted on the final response. I had to ask the recruiter I was working with at the time to understand what happened. Ultimately, a gap in React experience was an issue, which I completely understand! But, a phone call or a response would have been professional, considering I was quite cordial. If I am being honest, this seems like a great place to work with some amazingly talented people, but this aspect of the interview left a negative impression.

2 hours assessment followed by a 30 minutes phone interview then email rejection with no feedback. It is pretty terrible to waste candidate time like this, if I were to spend 2.5 hours on the application process, I expect to hear more than "we decide to not move forward"

Question 1
Nothing too crazy, show some broken code for you to fix

The best interview process I’ve had so far.
1 - Within the same day of applying, my resume was reviewed and I was sent the coding assessment.
2 - The scenarios from the assessment were very realistic to what you would encounter in your day to day.
3 - Received plenty of feedback on my submission within 1 day and during the weekend!!
4 - Received a final response in less than 48 hours.
There’s a lot of debate that the hiring process for SWEs is broken but that’s not the case here. I wish all interviews were like this!
Tips for improvement: I wish there had been more time to resolve the coding challenge.

Troubleshooting a performance issue and a JavaScript coding test. Both were time boxed.

The entire interview process was pretty seamless. It started with a 100-minute Woven assessment. After that followed a 1 on 1 phone interview where we talked about my experience and I was asked some technical questions. The final interview was a virtual on-site with a group panel.
