I applied online. The process took approx. 1.5 months. There were 2 stages to the process. The first stage consisted of an on-site 'Coding Challenge' with other applicants. You are seated in groups of 4-6 applicants (although you work individually), along with 2 assessors/buddies from Liberty IT who are there to assess but also to answer any queries and to hear your thought process. The Coding Challenge consisted of being given a code snippet for a particular task, and then implementing 3 changes/fixes which they have detailed. The second stage was the 'Recruitment Centre' which consisted of an online, two-part interview and group assessment. The interview was split into 2 parts; standard competency-style questions for the first 20 minutes, then the latter 20 minutes was spend on a whiteboarding challenge, were the aim was to whiteboard the architecture of a website for purchasing car insurance. After the interview was a non-technical group task to test our ability to work as a group to come up with a solution to a problem in the format of a game. After the second stage I heard back at the end of week that I was not successful due to the quality of candidates leading to a very high standard to obtain an offer. I emailed to request feedback on my application and heard nothing for a week, so I emailed again and have still heard nothing, not even an acknowledgement of whether this is or isn't possible, which is disappointing.

Completely remote. The first stage is to fill in a simple form on your current education level and any work experience related to the offered job. Next stage is an online technical challenge you have 12 hours to complete and upload, this technical challenge could be completed in a number of languages (C#, Java, Python, C++ ... and more). After this stage you may be offered to proceed to the final stage. Which is a 3 hour Teams meeting split into different parts called the Recruitment Center. Two parts are individual and the other two are group work. For the individual, it was two Liberty IT software engineers asking standard interview questions and gauging your response such as "Was there ever a time you needed to meet a deadline, how did you meet that deadline?" This first meeting was also to discuss the technical challenge approach. I would recommend continuing to work on improving the technical challenge after you submit, this would be the time to explain any further improvements you would make. The other individual meeting with two different software engineers was to design a software architecture diagram in about 10 minutes, nothing too detailed, just to show and discuss your design and proposed implementation. The two group related meetings were fun team building exercises and to see how each candidate worked with others, where they patient and polite? Did they listen to others and help the more quiet speak? After this I received an offer over email the following week. The overall experience of the interview process was fun and comfortable, I would recommend any person interested in working for Liberty IT to apply, even just to see how well they preform job recruitment. This was for an Associate role, so I can't speak for higher tier roles.
