From start to finish the interview process was streamlined and to the point. They don’t like to waste anyone’s time which I super appreciated. For as fast as we are growing as a company, you’d expect to hear stories about mass hirings followed by firings and/or mass quitting because of “people fit”. That doesn’t happen here. Our people ops and recruiting team do the absolute best job of finding not only the best qualified candidates but people who get along with others in a real and genuine way. But back to the process. On the first day, I had a phone screen/interview with the recruiter which took about 35-45min. From there I had an assessment/quiz which took about 45min. Two days later I had an on site interview with both hiring managers at the remote Austin office. The next day I had an offer.

Question 1
During my interview with the recruiter they asked questions about who I was as a person, what I valued, what I needed to be successful. A lot of the questions were about what they could do for me.

The interview process is really quick. It includes a phone call, aptitude/personality test, and an in-person interview. I interviewed with about 3 people. They say interviews will take about 1.5 hours, but it seems to take people closer to 2 hours sometimes

I was asked pretty standard questions about my background and my interest in sales. I then did two mock calls with the hiring managers. They are really looking to see if you can take instruction and apply it to the second call.

After I applied to Levelset, I was reached out to pretty quickly to set up a time for a phone interview within a week, or whenever I was available for a 30 minute phone call. On that introductory phone call I was given a great picture of Levelset as a whole: the culture, the training and onboarding process, the product, and the everyday work life for this position. After the phone interview I was asked if I was still interested, with my new knowledge of the company, and when I said that I was we scheduled an in office visit for the second interview. I was asked to take an aptitude test, a generic one, which I'm assuming they used to judge personality fit and strongest qualities. For the office interview I was given a quick tour and then I sat down with a few different managers and was able to have an open discussion about myself and my goals. Then they had me make a few phone calls to prospects (I had been told about this and was given a script to look over before and also to have at the phone). There was a quick wrap up and I was contacted within 24 hours. Better than most experiences in interviewing. I wasn't dragged along for interview after interview. It was quick and respectful of my time.

Tell me about a time where you didn't succeed. How did that affect you and what did you do afterward?
