I did not have to interview or get hired, I transferred over from SGH to make more money and "better commission." There is a required drug test and backround check and they will only hire certified people. Lenscrafters is pickier because more goes into the job.

There is a lot to eyeglasses and it takes time to learn and become good at understanding how to Upsell. There is too much emphasis on sales and not enough on what the customer needs.
Asked me no questions about my prior work experience. Only wanted to know how many hours I was looking to work. They were looking for a body to fill a position.

Very lovely quick in person meeting and tour of the store. Enjoyed getting to see how the store operates. It was great getting a sense of team dynamics and such.

The interview was easy and the team is great and great manager. A great place to work, loved my experience there and would highly recommend if you are interested in learning about glasses!
