Two interview rounds - both in person. First with two interviewers and the second had three interviewers. After second round I was essentially told I had the job and to be patient for formal offer. Upon following up several times, I was told they wanted to be transparent (after about a month and a half of interviewing and waiting) and that the position still wasn't approved by management and they would let me know when it is approved. No follow up from that point on and was essentially ghosted by the company. Complete lack of professionalism. For one, why are you interviewing professionals for a position that isn't even approved? Second, at least have the decency to follow up after such a long interview process.
