I applied online, but then saw a local "career fair" and attended. After refilling out the paper application and following clear detailed instructions (obviously meant to see if you would follow them precisely) I was taken to a "prescreen interview" with three employees from different areas. First I was asked to self-rate my skill level in various computer areas. The very first question was regarding a common acronym for a medical condition (what does it stand for)? There were other questions clearly designed to simply see if people had adequate medical knowledge. {I.e, what type of doctor would you see if you have liver disease? What is another organ affected by diabetes?)
After "passing" that section of interview I was taken to a Medical QA supervisor who interviewed me with some more medical questions as well as more traditional interview questions (name three weaknesses, how do you work in a team if everyone is not pulling their weight). He wanted questions answered in the STAR format and I didn't know what that was! So review it.
There was no written assessment for this position that day.
Everyone was polite and friendly. There is no reason to be intimidated if you have the medical knowledge and are polite and articulate.

QTC reached out me to schedule an interview and the day prior to the interview, not even 24 hours leading up to it, they proceeded to send me an email that said “their business needs have changed and they have canceled the opportunity.” Absolutely unprofessional and ridiculous. Beware of anyone who applies to this company in the future.

Very straightforward and friendly. Review resume details and ask about background and previous employment roles. Ask about scenarios in the workplace and how you would handle it. Talk about job description and role. Very engaging

I received an interview offer from a Senior recruiter in the San Antonio location. The subject line stated "QTC would like to interview you ASAP". She offered 3 appointment times for the following day. I requested one of the times she offered with the plan to take a 30 min lunch (given the short notice). She responded that time was taken and asked me to suggest other times and she would send me a appointment request in return. I said I worked longer hours that day, but I could take a lunch at any time that was convenient for her. She never responded. I sent two more follow up emails to see if I was still a candidate for an interview and she ignored them. It's very unprofessional, rude and her behavior reflects poorly on the company. She has only been at her current location for 8 months, but has years of experience. You'd think she wouldn't be so complacent in her current position to feel she can represent the company in such an unprofessional manner.
