I recently interviewed for a position that involved three rounds (with the final round being onsite). The initial HR screening was fairly basic and focused mainly on collecting background information. However, the scheduling process felt disorganized .I received multiple separate emails regarding interview setup, which made the coordination confusing.
The second round was with the hiring manager. While the conversation itself went well and the questions were relevant, the manager’s camera remained off for the entire virtual interview, which made the interaction feel less engaging and somewhat impersonal.
After the interview, there was a two-week period with no updates or communication. Ultimately, I received a brief one-line rejection email without feedback.
Overall, while the interview questions were reasonable and the role itself seemed interesting, the process could benefit from clearer communication, better coordination, and a more candidate-focused experience.
