I was submitted to the final video interview for this position after only one previous interview. Over the weekend I had gotten a cold and took some heavy medication to sleep it off. Under full disclosure I was 10 minutes late and called to apologize and try to reschedule. I got the reschedule but during the call to do so I was reprimanded for not taking things seriously and “giggling” after being told it was ok and I had slightly laughed in relief. I was reprimanded for not prioritizing and lacking commitment. Afterwards, she had gotten off the phone in a rush saying her father’s doctor was calling her and she needed to hop off. The hypocrisy was definitely noticed.
