After applying online, I was contacted by phone to schedule an in-person interview. After a tour of the facility, the lab manager took me to her office and conducted a formal interview (basic questions). A month later, after hearing nothing and assuming I had been passed over, I got a call with a formal offer. HR seems to be rather unorganized, as I repeated several redundant tasks with multiple people.

I applied online in early April and received a call to come in for an interview at the beginning of June. The interview consisted of two parts: HR and Laboratory, each lasting about 45 mins. I was asked the common,"what are your strengths/weaknesses". I was then transferred to the lab manager who gave me a tour of the facilities, explained how the samples I would be testing get to the lab and gave a brief, yet detailed tour of the machinery that would be most often used in the lab. Following the tour, I was asked a few questions about working independently, as the job I was applying for was a third shift position.
