I was contacted by an LPL recruiter. In total, four lengthy interviews with 9+ people. They obviously put forth great effort to vet their candidates which is appreciated. Final interview ended with a, "we cant wait for you to join our team!" Hiring manager provided a start date and orientation date. I was a bit caught off guard - one month after the interview and no follow-up communication from the hiring manager despite multiple emails. Finally received a generic denial email. No feedback about the interview despite asking... overall felt very awkward. Based on other reviews - looks like this is common practice to lead on candidates. I still think LPL seems like a great company but question whether they practice the values they preach based on my interview process.
