No response after interview- for 5 weeks of radio-silence.
Unfortunately, the process was poorly managed from the start. The HR contact rescheduled my interview twice, and although I responded promptly to their emails, the earlier slot they offered was no longer available by the time they replied. As a result, I had to wait nearly two more weeks for the rescheduled interview.
I was initially optimistic about the opportunity. I completed a time-intensive assessment and was told I’d move on to the interview stage, with a response expected within two weeks.
I finally interviewed for the role and was told I’d receive a response within two weeks. I spent several hours completing a detailed assessment and later moved on to the interview stage, which I felt went very well. However, despite following up four times over the course of five weeks, I never received any kind of update—positive or negative.
The lack of communication was disappointing, especially after the significant time and effort invested in the process. I understand delays happen, but no response at all shows a lack of professionalism and transparency. Interestingly, after more than a month of silence, I saw the same role reappear on LinkedIn, now listed as an internship—adding further confusion.
Eventually, I did receive a short reply after sending a final follow-up, but only after being ignored for weeks. It left me feeling overlooked, and I wouldn’t recommend investing your time into a process that doesn’t respect candidates’ effort or follow through with basic communication.
If the hiring process is this disorganised, it makes you question what working there might actually be like.
