Applied online and received an email about a week and a half later asking for a phone screening. I called and was asked 3 questions regarding basic customer service and why I wanted to work for Kroger specifically. He told me he would email the hiring manager to notify them that I had completed the phone screening. I was called and asked to schedule an interview, which was very relaxed and didn't feel much like an interview. They couldn't find my application online, so I had to come back 3 days after the interview to finish the paperwork and get the drug/background check.
The interview process includes application review, initial screening, one or more interviews (phone, video, or in-person), skill assessments, reference checks, and finally, a job offer or rejection notification. It was great.

The job interview was really simple and straightforward. The employer asked me a couple of personal questions and my past experiences. It was during my high school years and I didn’t have much experience.
