J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris plus d'une semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Kraft Heinz (Lagos) en mai 2012

This was a classic case of an employer not being aware of the need to make a good impression on a potential hire. The recruitment process is definitely not one-sided.
After leaving work early and driving through a 2-hour traffic to get to make the appointment, I was kept waiting for 30 minutes without any explanation.
Then I was called into the interview room where I met 3 individuals: 2 guys from HR and the Marketing Director, who was still taking a phone call. We waited another 5 minutes for the Marketing Director (some short dude with an over-inflated sense of his own importance) to get off the phone, then finally the interview started.
As I answered the questions, the Marketing dude kept trying to assert that I did not know as much as I should, like I needed to really impress him. He kept correcting my answers like I was supposed to have read a specific textbook before coming for the interview. In short it wasn't a very pleasant experience.
About 6 months later, I received a call from the HR guy, asking if I might be interested in trying for another role. I very politely declined. Apparently, they erroneously thought I was desperate to leave my current employer.

The interview process moves quickly and will ask you the standard interview questions until the last round. The last round, ‘culture interviews, will be 3+ team members asking you the same questions: I wish they did a panel instead:
