Four rounds of interview. Excellent and pointed questions, excellent experience. Discussion ranged from the technical aspects such as data science and ML engineering, and ML deployment, to managerial aspects and how I would mentor and grow a team.

Email offer made(not formal just checking salary) 6. Replied asking for X + 5% 7. Ghosted - never heard back. A simple, no, we can't do that would have been fine, or a reply that the team decided to go in a different direction.
