      Applied online, received a call from HR 1. HR was polite and gave an all round overview of the job description and about the company 2. First round: interview on core technical concepts about scaling, performance, load balancers, previous project details, databases. Interviewer was quite good and it was a pleasant discussion for about an hour 3. Second round was expected to be with the architect, was expecting a design interview but turned out to be another algorithmic interview much to my surprise. This time it was a panel interview (2) and only one interviewer was talking and the other one was silent for the whole duration of one hour The interviewer struggled to ask the questions right, probably because of bad communication skills. The questions itself did not make any sense. not one bit. Interviewer struggled to explain the questions. I was struggling to understand the questions. Over all it was a hot mess. During all this time the other interviewer kept silent. It was over google hangouts and both the interviewers did not turn on the camera and I had to awkwardly stare at the blank screen. Bad interviewer with such bad communication skills that you wouldn't be able to understand the question. I wonder if he's the architect, how could he communicate any details to the team This one hour of my life was a complete waste.

      A Comedy of Errors Disguised as a Hiring Process If you’re even remotely thinking about interviewing at Kore.ai, stop right now. This was by far the most unprofessional and frustrating experience I’ve ever endured, and here’s why: 1. Dragged Through Endless Rounds for Nothing My interviews started on December 6, followed by rounds on December 10 and 16, 2024. After jumping through all their hoops, I was allegedly cleared and told I would join on December 23. But nope—on December 22, they casually postponed it to December 31. Fast forward, and I get informed the position is “on hold” because the CTO suddenly had “confusion about my employer”, even after clearing that confusion he again A complete circus act. 2. CTO Drama – A Whole New Level of Ridiculous I emailed the CTO directly, hoping to clear up any confusion regarding my background. Big mistake. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, the CTO lost their mind and threatened to fire the recruiter for what he thought was sharing his email address. Newsflash: it wasn’t the recruiter—I got the email online, like anyone could. Yet somehow, Kore.ai thought it was appropriate to scapegoat their own employee instead of resolving the situation like grown-ups. 3. Disorganized and Clueless The entire hiring process was a mess. No transparency, no accountability, and no respect for the time or effort I invested. The recruiter was stuck playing mediator while the leadership team couldn’t make a single coherent decision. If this is how they treat candidates, I shudder to think how they treat their employees. 4. A Complete Waste of Time After weeks of jumping through hoops, waiting, and chasing them for updates, Kore.ai left me high and dry with nothing but excuses and unprofessional behavior. It’s baffling that a company claiming to be innovative can operate this way. ironically they also have ai recruitment product as well. Final Verdict Kore.ai’s hiring process is a dumpster fire. From endless delays to leadership drama, they epitomize how NOT to run a company. The lack of professionalism, respect, and basic human decency should be a red flag for anyone considering working here. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere—you’ll thank me later.

      Worst ever company to interview for. No one ever turns up for interviews. Had at least 4 interviews scheduled where the interviewers did not even turn up and no one bothered to inform or cancel. Looking at the glassdoor I am not surprised at the bad reviews, the culture reflects in the interview process itself. What a waste of time. Regret having bothered to even apply to such a company.
