First round with recruiter screen, then hiring manager interview, then interview with senior vice president. Final round would have been a sales role playing interview which sounds interesting. The recruiter and everyone I met was great however they ghosted me after my 3rd round which I find very disappointing and disrespectful despite many follow ups. Unfortunately the negative Glassdoor reviews here might be telling… in my opinion a company is not worth working for if they don’t have the courtesy to reject you with decency.

Sharing this because companies have gotten so lazy with hiring processes. I submitted an application a month ago, received no call back which is totally normal and fine. However, the rejection email I received stated they enjoyed our conversation and were impressed with my background and experience but at this time moving forward with another candidate. Here's the thing, we never had a phone conversation or spoke about my background. Hiring has gotten so lazy for these companies, they can't even send the correct rejection email or track which candidates they spoke with. Simply put - Do Better.. If you're going to send a personal rejection email, make sure you've successfully spoken to them, and let them walk through their resume and background.
