My phone interview was with HR and the hiring manager, and took place almost two months after my online application. Towards the conclusion of our discussion, the hiring manager said he definitely wanted to continue talking with me, although HR said she still had hundreds of resumes to go through so I wasn't sure if I'd be moved forward. The following week I was invited to take the online assessment, which was extensive. I must have been judged acceptable because the next month they brought me over for 1:1 interviews with the two people I'd already spoken with on the phone plus one potential peer. I thought my day there went really well and was very interested in the company and position, but received a "pursuing other candidates who more closely match" email from the HR contact about ten days later. Then in the fall I saw the same position advertised on Monster again, and tried reaching out to the Hiring Manager to reinvigorate my candidacy. No response to emails or voice messages left with his assistant. Very disappointed I could get no constructive feedback.
