Interviewer made an inappropriate and ill-informed comment asking if I was involved in the Post Office scandal during my time at Fujitsu. A simple glance at my CV would have clarified this. The tone of the interview felt adversarial rather than collaborative or exploratory. Advice to Management: Ensure interviewers review candidates’ CVs before the call to avoid making uninformed assumptions. Encourage a culture of respect and curiosity, especially when a candidate brings valuable and diverse industry experience.

The interview process was reasonably straight forward - introduction, coding exercise, system design and a cultural fit. The coding exercise can be a bit awkward to read output. Interviewers are reasonably empathetic and supportive.
