First you apply online
After their computers weed you out, they send you a "skills test"
After their second round of computers weed you out, you get real contact from the HR department
You have a phone interview
You set up a sit down interview with the branch manager and the Area Region Leader
Now they know they want you.
They set up a drug test and full background check
You pass and they send you an offer letter with a start date and rate of pay and benifits
The rate of pay isn't what you discussed in the sit down.
You play with HR for a day or two getting them to write an offer letter with the correct pay.
Sign up and Start work.

The recruiter did not sound interested throughout the whole interview and asked borderline offensive questions. A little background: I was unemployed for a while due to layoffs. I guess the recruiter did not like the fact that there were gaps in my work history and asked me if I am still unemployed? How would I support myself financially if I weren't employed? What am I trying to get out of being a teller? Is this really appropriate for a phone screening? I got a rejection a week after the phone interview.

Phone call with recruiter shortly after applying (about 3 days), meeting with supervisor about a week later. Job offered that day over the phone and started the next week. Pretty straightforward the entire way
