I got pulled in during the late stages of hiring and I got a ton of praise for my resume and experience. I met with the recruiter who fast-tracked me to meet with the hiring manager. I had a great meeting with her and was excited about next steps. The initial recruiter even called me to let me know they were still interested but needed to align schedules for the next interview. And then complete silence. I reached out to check in on progress and received no response. The job has since been removed from the website and I can only assume they went in another direction. This lack of communication was not only unprofessional but demoralizing.
