I met with the Software Architect on site. He was concerned early on in our discussion about me not being local. I explained to him my plan for moving to the local area. I think I should have explained that I want to relocate because I have passion for the company, it's products, the technologies, the responsibilities of the position, and that paired with my skills and desire to contribute that I will become an important asset to the company. Towards the end of the interview, a team member was brought in. She asked me a few questions, but was not impressed because I don't have a solid history of experience in the primary programming language they use. There were a series of technical questions. I fumbled on a couple of the questions. The interview appeared to be terminated early.
