Standard government process - 2-4 weeks for a response. Group / Panel interview. Each panel member took turns asking a question and all members wrote the response. Same process I'd experienced with another department I had worked for previously. Not a conversation-style interview. Questions were asked by the panel, and the atmosphere was fairly stiff. Between each question you have to wait for each member to record your response before they move on to the next person. I don't recall being asked to elaborate on any response - it was simply recorded and then another question was asked. Interview panel did not show much desire to be there.
