J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez KOHO

      Entretien

Perfectly pleasant interview! It was a one-hour video interview over Google Meets with two team leaders. Standard interview questions, nothing out of left field. Was asked questions about my background, how I handle stress, very normal.

It is extensive but moves quick but super efficient and alot of people on the panel. The interviews are held with different departments to see if you fit in with the culture and inter-departments

J'ai passé un entretien chez KOHO (Toronto, ON)

      Entretien

I applied for KOHO on AngelList a bit of time ago and was finally matched a few weeks later. I was scheduled for a phone interview the following week. I spoke to one of the long-term employees for about 15-20 mins: she asked standard questions to get to know my qualifications and what I know about KOHO and what they have to offer. I was scheduled for an in-person interview the following week. The location and building of their Toronto office is wonderful and rustic. The office space is very inviting and the people are very friendly - making sure to offer refreshments to make you feel comfortable. The interview was scheduled for 1.5 hours but it ran to 2 hours for me. The first portion of the interview was formal. I was interviewed by two people. They asked several interesting questions to understand how I operated within my job experiences and focused on how they would align with KOHO. They then provided me a 10 minute skills assessment to see how I would communicate with employees in the role. After, it became the informal portion of the interview. I met with 2 additional interviewers within the management team. They asked questions to see what my interests are outside of work and assured me to ask any questions that came to mind to understand the KOHO collective. They were non-judgemental and very open which was refreshing to say the least. I met again with one individual from my first interview and they said that I completed my skills assessment beautifully and asked me how much notice could I hand my current employer since they are looking for someone to start on Monday. They also asked for references as soon as possible. On my way out, I met another person kind of unexpectedly, and that concluded my 2 hour interview. I sent in my references an hour after the interview and received an email response. After that the lines of communication slowed down. A week and a half pass by, I send an email to know the status of their successful reference checks, but no response at all. I received other offers at that point, so I decided to send another email and finally receive a response back that they had moved forward with another candidate. Much like the previous reviewer, they do not value the time of their candidates and made the interview process go from pleasant to sour. Clearly KOHO is dealing with the growing pains of a start-up, but they need to update the candidates that they are interested in. It shouldn't take for the candidate to e-mail the company to find out the status of their interview, especially if they are hinting that they are interested in you to start. It's incredibly disheartening especially since the time of application to the time everything is wrapped up is such an exhaustive process already. If they don't change, you can find yourself floating in the air after a good interview for weeks
