First round w/ 2 partners. No feedback for weeks. Second round w/ Senior Associate. All nice people. They made an offer about a week after interview 2 that was 10k below my current salary. I countered with current salary to partner 1 who said he’d call partner 2 to discuss it and call me back. They never called back. Neither did I. At every step - from the first meeting all the way up to and including the terminal mutual ghosting that followed failed, insincere negotiations - this interview process was essentially the same format as dating on tinder. I think you guys rock. Sorry it didn’t work out between us. I wish you the best of luck in the future. ✊🏼

One-on-one with managing partner. She described the work environment and type of cases the firm works on. No discussion regarding the work environment. Statements of "flexibility." An offer was made on the spot, which, looking back, should have raised a red flag. Described the benefits and billing expectations.
