Entretien
I had applied online and a recruiter emailed me that I am a potential match. We discussed my qualification on the phone and everything happened fast. I talked to a technical person over the phone and I was invited for a site visit and interview shortly.
Since a good part of the job in that specific department involved travelling to make sure all of the seniour people are present for the interview they had invited six candidate at the same date and we went through one by one.

Question 1
They give you a test on basis of image processing. How a defect in sample shows up in the intensity readings, Fourier space, etc. It is important to read about these things if you don't have prior experience. The test book has a few examples if I recall correctly but it is not enough info if it is the first time you encounter such discussion.
One screening call, a quick tour to the lab, and a 1.5 hour technical interview. During the phone interview it was mostly to discuss a gap in my resume. The interview was on cute.

Basic electrical engineering questions and a behavioral question
Fair behavioral question and ask about relevant job experience. The overall process is smooth and the interviewer is easy going. Take some time to prepare for company related questions and you should be fine.
Interview with the Hiring manager was chill but he did not really ask anything about my background nor how I would fit the role.
Instead he asked me some brain teasers, which caught me off guard a little.
