Very unprofessional. The recruiter ended up not calling me at all the for the first intro call interview. I had to email them to reschedule. The second time, the recruiter ended up calling late - well past our scheduled time. We rescheduled a third time, and even then, the recruiter was late calling, but we managed to kick off the interview regardless.
After the intro call interview, we schedule another interview with one of their technical leads for the position. I satisfy everything they're asking with the exception of their Ansible questions - I have a lot of Ansible experience, but I'm not an expert with Ansible terminology. The technical lead assures me that, because I seem knowledgeable with everything else, that it wouldn't be an issue being brought to speed on Ansible. We hang up, and the next week the recruiter schedules a series of lead interviews. A few hours later, I get a call from another recruiter telling me they made a mistake and that they didn't want to continue with the hiring process because "they" had a scrum meeting and decided they wanted someone with strong Ansible skills. The job description never mentioned any emphasis on Ansible, so it was rather misleading, and I wasted a lot of time with this company.
